Riccardo Stecca was born in April, 1984 in Portogruaro, near Venice. Since childhood he has been very interested in drawing characters in a very personal way, but his studies took a different path, indeed, he attended the Scientific Senior High School G. Galilei in San DonĂ  di Piave, and after the graduation he moved to Udine University to study Engineering. However his sensitivity and passion is for something more creative, far from studying numbers, calculations and rules. It's in 2006 that his passion for illustration came out and he decide to attend Illustration and Multimedia Animation study at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan. Here he develops his professional and personal skill with computer graphic. Soon he was commisioned his first assignements: a collection of drawings for childhood pajamas for Malerba label; a series of drawings for Dominoes commissioned by Bymark label, a graphic section for the Muba (Child Museum of Milan), a series of Stamps and Postcards of the japanese zodiac for the Hiroshige exhibition in Rome and other graphic examples exibition about painter Hopper in Milan; and this is just the beginning...
